Heavy Equipment Mechanic
We are a locally-owned Milford, MI area site contractor currently seeking heavy equipment mechanic to join our maintenance team. Most of our heavy equioment is Caterpillar
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose, rebuild, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems of heavy operating equipment.
- Perform maintenance and repair on heavy equipment, trucks, trailers, and tools while using a high degree of independent judgement.
- Accurately order needed parts from vendors.
- Perform inspections and preventive maintenance.
- Prepares and maintains records and reports.
- Extensive knowledge of construction or heavy equipment and advanced understanding of schematics and diagrams.
- Performs all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards.
