We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our quarry team. This position is responsible for safely and efficiently operating heavy machinery to extract, move, and load aggregate materials in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Operate heavy equipment such as loaders, excavators, haul trucks, and bulldozers.
- Perform daily equipment inspections and basic maintenance.
- Feed crushing equipment.
- Load and transport materials within the quarry site.
- Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.
- Assist with other quarry tasks as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience operating heavy equipment (quarry or construction experience preferred).
- Valid driver’s license; heavy equipment certification is an asset.
