Responsibilities
- Vehicle Operation Operate heavy trucks safely and efficiently in compliance with UAE traffic laws and company regulations. Transport goods and materials to assigned destinations within specified timeframes. Perform vehicle start-up, route checks and ensure adherence to trip schedules.
- Vehicle Maintenance and Inspection Conduct daily vehicle inspections before and after trips checking tires, brakes, lights, oil, water, etc. Report any mechanical issues or damage to the fleet supervisor immediately. Ensure the vehicle is kept clean, well‑maintained and roadworthy at all times. Coordinate with the maintenance team for regular servicing and repairs.
- Documentation and Reporting Maintain accurate trip logs, delivery records, mileage reports and fuel usage. Ensure all delivery notes, invoices and documents are signed and returned as required. Comply with company policies regarding documentation and record keeping. ...
