Job Description
Our client is looking for an experienced Heavy Vehicle Diesel Mechanic to join their busy Kwinana workshop. This permanent, full-time role offers Monday to Friday hours, competitive pay, flexible arrangements including one RDO per month, and access to modern workshop facilities. This is a great opportunity for someone who prefers to be home every night and enjoy a regular schedule without FIFO or DIDO commitments.
What you’ll be doing:
- Carrying out maintenance and repairs on heavy vehicles and trailers, including electrics, driveline, transmissions, engines, steering, suspensions, braking, and ancillary systems (Kenworth, Volvo, MAN)
- Responding to breakdowns on-site and, occasionally, off-site to minimise downtime
- Diagnosing faults using wiring diagrams and other technical resources, and completing repairs efficiently
