The (UAB) (HSOM) invites applications for an open rank/open tenure faculty position in the (BMG). Highly qualified applicants are sought who have established a robust research program in structural biology. The successful applicant will be expected to develop an independent, externally funded research program and to contribute to graduate and medical school teaching. A competitive compensation and startup package will be offered in accordance with the candidates qualifications. The BMG department in the UAB HSOM has a long history of promoting scientific and teaching excellence.Applications are particularly sought from investigators with expertise in structural biology and research programs focused on molecular mechanisms of cancer.
