Role Overview:
We are seeking a professional HGV Class 2 Driver to join our logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and timely delivery of building materials to trade and retail customers. As a key member of our branch, you will ensure that timber, plasterboard, and other essential supplies reach our customers safely and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operating a Class 2 vehicle (typically or Curtainsider) to deliver building supplies.
- Assisting with the loading and unloading of materials, ensuring all loads are secure and balanced.
- Conducting daily vehicle walk-around checks and maintaining accurate tacho records.
- Providing excellent customer service at the point of delivery.
- Working closely with the Yard Supervisor to coordinate delivery routes and priorities.
