Job Description
We are recruiting HGV Class 1 drivers for night trunking work for our Client at Walton Summit, Bamber Bridge, Preston. Shifts start at 18:00 Monday to Friday and are always a single drop in Birmingham with no loading or unloading. As these positions are ASAP, we require immediate availability, so please only apply if you can start straight away.
Requirements
- A UK issued Class 1 driving licence held for a minimum of 2 years.
- A valid CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card.
- No more than 6 points on your licence.
- Commitment to look after your vehicle, be punctual and reliable, and maintain a tidy appearance.
Responsibilities
- Trunking to Birmingham.
- Daily walk‑round and vehicle checks, reporting any existing damage and defects.
- Correct use of tachograph and adherence to drivers hours.
