3 months contract with a Local Authority Job Title: HGV Class 2 Driver Valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) Licence Essential. Job Purpose To safely and efficiently operate a Class 2 vehicle collecting commercial waste from customer locations while maintaining high standards of customer service, health and safety, and compliance with transport regulations. Key Responsibilities Always Operate a Class 2 HGV vehicle safely and legally. Collect and transport commercial waste in accordance with company and environmental regulations. Complete daily vehicle checks and reports any defects promptly. Ensure all collections are completed within scheduled timeframes. Follow health and safety procedures and safe working practices. Maintain accurate records, including vehicle and collection documentation. Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clients.
