Job Description
HGV Driver - Refuse and Recycling Collection
The rewards
- £17.47 per hour (weekdays)
- Higher rates for weekends and overtime

Hours
- Monday to Friday with potential evening and weekend overtime
- AM shifts: start at 5:00 AM, 6:00 AM, or 7:00 AM
- PM shifts: 12:30 PM - 9:30 PM
- Approximately 6.5 hours per shift
The role of HGV Driver:
- Drive along designated routes to collect refuse and recycling waste
- Check routes for safety restrictions, planned roadworks, and traffic to ensure smooth operations
- Complete all required paperwork including job logs and incident reports
- Perform daily vehicle checks and report any issues promptly
- Adhere to site rules and regulations, including correct PPE usage
