Job Description

HGV Technician needed in Rotherham, £22.50ph PAYE – Reference: 000A 166A / 1

Working Hours 8am – 6pm

  • MOT Preparation & Servicing 

  • Provide a high standard of fault diagnosis

  • Carry out periodic safety inspections on vehicles to DVSA inspection manual standards

  • Carry out PDI inspections

  • Conduct decommissioning inspections and repairs

  • MOT preparation

  • Presenting vehicles for their annual MOT inspection

  • carrying out repairs to minimise vehicle downtime.

    • The Temporary Post holder will be required to work on complex hydraulic, pneumatic, mechanical, and electrical systems, in some cases using the latest vehicle diagnostic technology.


    There may be at times a requirement to attend broken down or accident damaged vehicles at the roadside and carry out permanent or temporary repairs.

    This is a full time role on a temporary contract basis.
