- Caring of patients pre op, phase I and phase II recovery.
- PACU nurses care for patients after surgery and must demonstrate advanced knowledge of anesthesiology and carrying for patients in Phase I. Candidates for PACU jobs require critical care skills to assess incision sites, monitor body temperature, and track other indicators of stability or complications.
