High School Math & Science Tutor (Part-Time, In-Person)
Oxford Learning Halifax is seeking a motivated and reliable part‑time Math & Science Tutor to join our team. In this role, you will work directly with high‑school students (Grades 9–12), helping them strengthen both subject knowledge and learning skills in a supportive, structured environment.
The position is an in‑person role at our Halifax (Quinpool Road) location.
What You’ll Do
- Teach up to 3 students at a time using Oxford Learning’s proven methodologies
- Provide individualized support in subjects such as algebra, advanced functions, trigonometry, calculus, physics, chemistry, and biology
- Track student progress and complete brief post‑lesson notes
- Foster a positive, encouraging, and focused learning environment
- Build rapport with students while maintaining a professional and structured approach
