Job Description
The cardio‑respiratory investigations (CRI) unit within Tameside General Hospital provides a range of diagnostic services to the Tameside and Glossop areas. A rare opportunity has arisen for a fully qualified BSE accredited cardiac physiologist to join our existing team. The successful candidate will primarily perform and interpret transthoracic echocardiography independently, including both in‑patient and outpatient studies, and support the cardiology team with other echo modalities and training.
Responsibilities
- Deliver a high quality Transthoracic Echo service by performing routine and advanced cardiac ultrasound examinations and formulating a full clinical report for the service user.
- Provide comprehensive Echo reports to BSE standards for Transthoracic Echo based on findings and clinical history of the patient.
