Responsibilities
- Plan and safely carry out repairs and improvements to built‑environment infrastructure such as modular paving, kerb installation, bituminous macadam laying, concreting, pipe laying, hard and soft landscaping including drainage repair, excavation and shoring.
- Apply design drawings, specifications and civil engineering techniques to guide work.
- Use safety methods with PPE, correct manual handling, and operate small plant and equipment including excavators, rollers, compaction equipment, dumpers, motorised circular saws and other highways equipment.
