About the role
ExxonMobil seeks a Hindsight Economist as part of a centralized team to execute Overall (Production Planning) Model Validation (OMV) and Production Performance Lookback (LB) for a specific/integrated manufacturing sites. The lookback process is intended to replace existing site lookback processes and complement current model validation work processes. This position is not limited to Malaysians only.
What you will do
- Execute the monthly backcasting/lookback process to analyze opportunities and present them to sites, driving improvement in molecule management and profitability.
- Be responsible for tool improvements (e.g., configuration/tag changes, planning case setup improvements, model biasing).
