Job Title: Histology Associate
Location: Oro Valley, AZ
Work Model: Onsite
Hours: 1st shift (6:00AM to 2:30PM)
Compensation: $25.50/hr
Type: Contract, Potential for extension or conversion to permanent
Responsibilities
+ Histotechniques (Tissue Sectioning and Staining): Demonstrates foundational histotechniques of embedding, microtomy, coverslipping, processing, and primary staining. Operates laboratory or manufacturing equipment. Receives detailed directions on all work. Follows standard operating procedures. Monitors and prepares bulk reagents. May assist in preparation work for moderately complex techniques under the direction of more senior histology technicians.
+ Quality and Safety: Maintains Right to Operate and ensures all processes are performed in a safe and healthy manner; addresses and escalates any potentially unsafe hazards; timely reports safety hazards, incidents, and near misses using safety reporting tools. Navigates...
