Hourly Pay Range:
$28.47 - $42.71 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:
- Position: Histology Technician - Per Diem
- Location: Swedish Hospital
- Full Time/Part Time: Resource, Per Diem
- Hours: Monday-Friday, 1st shift, hours vary to 2nd shift, based on dept needs. Must be flexible.
What you will do:
- Conducting tissue specimen processing to incudes: receiving, and preparing tissue specimens for histological examination, as well as embedding, sectioning, staining, and mounting on slides.
- Ensuring the accuracy and reliability of histological slides by adhering to strict quality control measures and protocols.
- Operating and maintain laboratory equipment, including microscopes and tissue processors. Examine slides to identify tissue abnormalities and cellular structures.
