Histotechnician Position

Position Summary:
This position receives, accessions, and performs histology laboratory testing in accordance with laboratory protocol.
Required Qualifications:
Education, Experience or Equivalent Combination:
- Associate degree and graduate of a school of Histotechnology or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Licensure/Registration/Certification:
- American Society of Clinical Pathology or National Certification Agency. Must attain certification within 18 months of hire.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Attention to detail.
