Job Description
HLTA who can support in Maths and English are needed for immediate supply positions for client SEN schools we work with in the Newcastle area. This is a Full-time position, you must be able to work 5 days and hours are 8.30-4.30 Mon-Thurs & 8.30-3.00 Fri. We have positions in SEN schools with children with needs ranging from ASD, MLD, and PMLD.
Experience in supporting children with any of the above needs would be an advantage but is not essential - a willingness to learn and engage with SEN children is the most important quality we are looking for. Ideally you will have a Higher-Level Teaching Assistant qualification, but you might be a Teacher looking to work as an HLTA.
You must be prepared to Lead Teaching and Learning when required. Posts vary from short term to long term but we require staff that are flexible and willing to learn from experience staff at the school.
