About The Role
The role of a Home Assessor is to assess and report on damages, discuss and agree upon best repair methods in conjunction with our panel of home repairers and our internal claims team, while ensuring our customer service levels are of the highest standards.
Our Home Assessors are the face of our claims team. They are often the first person on site following a home insurance claim. This provides us a unique opportunity to assist our customers in their time of need.
Key Accountabilities
- Attending clients’ properties (physically or Virtually) and accurately reporting on building damage to domestic insured properties, in line with policy coverage.
- Providing accurate Scopes of Works for rectification works to be carried out on insurable events
- Claims support - Review expert reports, provide technical advice and recommendations on policy coverage to our claims team.
