**Job Summary and Responsibilities**
As a Hospital Supervisor RN, you will lead and exercise delegated administrative authority for supervising hospital personnel and functions, including patient care, in the Administrator's or Department Director's absence.
Daily, you will act as the leader and resource, facilitating efficient operations and serving as an administrative representative knowledgeable about hospital policies. You have authority, after consultation, to suspend employees affecting patient care. This role primarily covers evening/night/weekend shifts when no Administrator/Director is on-site. Success in this role requires exceptional leadership, strong clinical nursing knowledge, superior decision-making under pressure, and a comprehensive understanding of hospital operations, policies, and emergency protocols.
