Company Description
The Aberdeen Hospital, in New Glasgow, is seeking hospitalists to join their team. There is an opportunity for applicants to engage in research and/or have medical teaching positions with Dalhousie University, should that be of interest. The current remuneration arrangement is a set daily rate as per the provincial hospitalist agreement with a stipend, plus fee-for-service billings for on-call work. At the Aberdeen, 4.5 hospitalist lines and a group of community family physicians that admit their own patients, will cover inpatient care outside the ICU. Each hospitalist line consists of approximately 18 patients.
