Job Description
Shift: 7 on / 7 off schedule (7 AM 7 PM); no on-call duties
Description:
- Full-time Hospitalist (MD/DO) position at Rome Health Hospital, a trusted facility in Central New York
- Manage an average of patients per physician daily
- Collaborate with intensivists in an open ICU (24/7 consultation available)
- Conduct admissions, daily rounds, rapid responses, and code management
- Utilize Paragon EMR for charting and documentation
- Coordinate with specialists, attending physicians, and nursing teams for comprehensive care
- Work in a non-trauma designated hospital with excellent infrastructure and subspecialty support
- Team collectively manages patients per day
- BE accepted if a new graduate; BC required within 2 years of start
- Not accepting Locums, Visa, or 1099 candidates
