About you:
The Hostess is responsible for providing a warm welcome to guests and managing the front-of-house seating experience in a high-end dining environment. This role ensures efficient table management, smooth guest flow, and a refined first impression aligned with luxury service standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests upon arrival with professionalism and warmth
- Manage reservations using booking systems (e.g., OpenTable or in-house POS)
- Organize seating plans to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
- Maintain and update waitlists during peak hours
- Escort guests to tables and present menus
- Coordinate with management and service staff regarding table status and guest flow
- Handle phone calls, reservation inquiries, and special requests
- Provide accurate wait-time estimates and manage guest expectations
