Job Summary:
Hotel housekeeping staff are responsible for keeping guest rooms and public areas clean, tidy, and comfortable. They help ensure guests have a pleasant and hygienic stay.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and prepare guest rooms (make beds, change linens, dust, vacuum, clean bathrooms)
Replenish supplies such as towels, toiletries, and minibar items
Clean hallways, lobbies, and other public areas
Report any maintenance issues or damaged items
Follow health and safety standards
Respond to guest requests politely and promptly
Requirements:
Basic cleaning skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Good physical stamina (standing, bending, lifting)
Positive attitude and reliability
No formal education required training is usually provided
