Hotel workshop technician

Minimum Requirements Valid South African ID Technical or trade qualification in Mechanical, Electrical or Workshop Engineering advantageous Minimum 2–3 years’ experience within a hotel workshop or maintenance role Previous experience within a hotel environment essential Proven experience in workshop maintenance, repairs or fabrication Strong knowledge of workshop tools, machinery and safety procedures Good technical problem-solving abilities Ability to work independently and meet deadlines Strong teamwork and communication skills Key Responsibilities Equipment & Facility Maintenance Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on hotel equipment and assets Repair, refurbish and fabricate components within the workshop Assist with on-site repairs and maintenance tasks when required Ensure all work is completed to a high standard of quality and durability Workshop Operations Operate and maintain workshop tools and machinery safely and efficiently Inspect and test completed work to ens...
