Summary The Primary Purpose of the Position is: To Lead and perform hospital housekeeping duties. The Organizational Location of the Position is: Environmental Management Service, VA North Texas Health Care System. Responsibilities Duties may include but are not limited to: Lead employees in performing work while he/she performs the full range of housekeeping tasks required to maintain the Medical Center in a aesthetic and aseptic condition. Passes on instructions from the supervisor to the employees and checks work to verify the work was completed. Works with the employees, sets the pace, demonstrates methods and techniques, obtains supplies and equipment while answering questions and making sure all tasks are complete and deadlines are met. Reports to the supervisor the status and progress of work, any infractions of policies and procedures, and assures safety rules are followed. Work Schedule: Mon-Sun 7:00am - 3:30pm, 3:00pm - 11:30pm.
