Summary This position is located within Environmental Management Services (EMS) of the Baltimore Veterans Affairs (VA) Medical Center, under the direct supervision of the Assistant Chief. This position will exercise technical and administrative supervision over subordinate workers in supporting and performing task (e.g., environment of care, textile distribution and training) associated with the EMS goals and objectives. Responsibilities The position plans the use of subordinate workers, equipment, facilities, and materials, on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis; establishes and ensures adherence to work priorities, project schedules, resources, and detailed work plans established by higher level supervisors; Follows customary work cycles and sequences in planning work assignments; coordinates work through subordinates in accordance with priority; determines methods and resources necessary to accomplish the assigned tasks.
