Housing Support Assistant - MOR11901

Job Description The Housing Support Assistant will work with vulnerable households including those identified within the Housing First and the UK Governments resettlement programmes to prevent homelessness arising. They will support households who are either in their own tenancy or who are in transition and working towards their own secured accommodation. Requirements 1. To provide home management and life skills training. 2. To provide advice, support & liaison on accessing local support services. 3. To provide tenancy maintenance support. 4. To provide advocacy for clients where required. 5. To implement procedures and carry out duties as directed by the Housing Support Officer, Housing Support Supervisor or Refugee Resettlement Project Officer. 6. To assist and support with induction of any new start members or students. 7. To maintain the continual professional development required for SSSC registration. 8.
