Job Title: Private Sector Housing Surveyor (DFG) Contract Duration: 12-Month Fixed-Term Contract Rate: 35 Umbrella Working Pattern: 37 hours per week Hybrid (predominantly remote, site visits as required) Summary The Private Sector Housing Surveyor plays a crucial role in supporting the delivery of the Councils Disabled Facilities Grants (DFG) Programme. This position involves providing professional surveying services within the Private Sector Housing team. The role requires assessing, designing, and managing adaptation works to enable residents to live independently in their homes. The surveyor will collaborate closely with Occupational Therapists, clients, and contractors to ensure that adaptations are safe, practical, compliant, and efficiently delivered.
