About The Role
We’re seeking a proactive Health & Safety Support professional for our Barton-Upon-Humber manufacturing site, working Monday-Friday, 06:00-14:30. The role supports implementation of Safety, Health & Environment systems and ensures effective contractor control.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain and review Risk Assessments, Safe Working Procedures, COSHH, and Manual Handling (MAC) Review/approve contractor RAMS; verify competency, certifications, and licences Coordinate contractors, ensuring compliance with site rules, CDM Regulations, and legislation Deliver site inductions for contractors/visitors and ensure safety understanding Manage Permits to Work (PTW), including high-risk tasks Conduct regular audits, inspections, and behavioural observations Promote a positive safety culture and challenge unsafe behaviours Investigate incidents/near misses, ide...
