Job Description
- Make that the HSEQ team completes the pre-inspection for the SIRE Inspection, and that the Marine/Technical Department closes all findings appropriately.
Risk Assessment and Management - To protect the safety of people, ships, and cargo, risk assessments are carried out for a variety of shipping-related operations and activities. Potential hazards are identified, and risk-mitigation strategies are put into place.
Compliance Monitoring - Keeping an eye on adherence to pertinent standards, certifications, and laws pertaining to health, safety, the environment, and quality, such as the ISO standards, the International Safety Management Code, and flag state laws.
- Provide guidance on alterations to laws and/or industry best practices, and provide suggestions that are approved.
