Summary The FRTIB is looking for a highly qualified and motivated individual to serve as a Human Resource Specialist (Classification). Special selection priority consideration will be given under the Career Transition Assistance program (CTAP) and the Interagency Career Transition Assistance Program (ICTAP) to well-qualified surplus or displaced candidates within the local commuting area. Responsibilities Applying Office of Personnel Management (OPM) classification standards and Factor Evaluation System (FES) methodology to render authoritative title, series, grade, and pay plan determinations for positions involving novel duties or complex series questions. Independently resolving complex and contested classification and position management issues under 5 U.S.C. Chapter 51, 5 CFR Part 511, and OPM standards to produce legally defensible determinations.
