**Job Title: HVAC Mechanical Systems Engineer**
**Location:** Southern Nuclear Operating Company – Vogtle 3&4
**Reports To:** Mechanical Systems Supervisor, Juan Molina
**Position Overview**
The HVAC mechanical system engineer ensures sustained long-term equipment performance for HVAC systems, including Chillers and Air Handling Units.
System engineers integrate reliability strategies into station operations, focusing on proactive identification and resolution of equipment issues before failure. The system engineer collaborates with maintenance, fleet engineering and operations teams to optimize asset health, minimize risk, and maintain compliance with regulatory and corporate standards.
