Job Description
Job Summary:
The Commercial & Industrial HVAC-R Estimator develops accurate, competitive estimates for service, repair, retrofit, and small-to-mid-size project work. This individual works closely with service managers, dispatch, field technicians, and partners to ensure estimates reflect real-world service conditions and high standards of quality, safety, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Prepare detailed cost estimates for service repairs and preventative maintenance agreements.
+ Review service proposals, technician recommendations, and customer requests to develop clear scopes of work.
+ Coordinate with service managers and technicians to validate labor hours and materials.
+ Solicit and evaluate vendor pricing for equipment, parts, rentals, and subcontracted services.
