Job Description
- Equipment maintenance and testing: Perform preventative maintenance, testing, calibration, and repairs on diving equipment including surface supplied air, nitrox, mixed gas, and saturation systems
- System knowledge: Maintain expertise in hydraulic, mechanical, and pneumatic systems such as pressure gauges, regulators, pressure relief valves, dive hats, chambers, and umbilicals
- Pre and post-dive operations: Conduct thorough pre-dive checks and post-dive care of all diving equipment and accurately record all activities, defects, and repairs in dive logs before and after delivery to the client.
- Compliance and certification: Ensure all equipment meets IMCA (International Marine Contractors Association) and DNV/Lloyds class guidelines, assist with class surveys, and prepare for IMCA audits
