Job Description

Eligibility:

Master's degree in English / English Literature / Language Arts / Education Mandatory teaching certification such as B. Ed., PGCE, or equivalent Strong command of written and spoken English

Teaching Experience

Typically 3–7 years of teaching experience in secondary/senior secondary levels Prior experience in IB DP / MYP or Cambridge IGCSE is strongly preferred Experience handling English Language & Literature (HL/SL) students

IB Curriculum Competency

Familiarity with IB philosophy and learner profile Understanding of: Inquiry-based and concept-driven learning Internal Assessment (IA), External Assessment structure TOK-related critical thinking approach Training in IB workshops (Category 1/2/3 English) is an added advantage

Key Skills Expected
