Job Description


Genesis10 is currently seeking an IBM Infosphere Data Replication (IIDR) Senior Engineer for a 12+ month contract position with a Global Financial Institution located in Plano, TX.


This role is responsible for developing and delivering on complex software requirements to accomplish business goals. The ideal candidate will understand the complete end-to-end architecture involving IBM IIDR, DB2 on Z/OS & UDB, Kafka, Oracle, CockroachDB, and SingleStore, operating as a technical lead for IBM IIDR work.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and manage real-time data replication solutions using IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (IIDR / CDC / Q Replication)
  • Lead end-to-end project execution from requirements gathering, solution design, deployment, testing, and production support
  • Configure and optimize CDC replication for multiple heterogeneous data sources and targets, including IMS DB, DB2, CockroachDB, Oracle, Kafka, and IBM MQ<...
