Job Description
Title: AS/400 (RPG IV) Developer
This role focuses on developing and maintaining applications on the IBM i (AS/400) platform using the RPG programming language. This role involves designing, coding, testing, and debugging RPG programs, as well as collaborating with stakeholders to gather requirements and ensure the applications meet business needs.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using RPG (including RPG IV, RPGLE, and potentially RPG III) and CL programming languages (SaFE Agile Framework)
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications and designs for RPG-based solutions.
- Work with DB2 databases on the AS/400, including designing tables, writing queries, and managing data.
