Job Description
The IDLE & Compliance team ensures the company follows customs laws, regulations, and internal procedures. They handle key documentation, support audits, respond to customs inquiries, and work to reduce shipment delays (IDLE cases) by finding and fixing root causes.
Responsible for overseeing the company’s compliance strategy and ensures all operations meet legal, regulatory, and internal standards. Key of contact for customs, authorities, and senior management on compliance matters. The Team Lead also ensures proper controls are in place to reduce risk, prevent penalties, and support smooth, compliant operations.
- Guide the team in daily tasks to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Ensure the team follow up on idling issue, feedback from POL/customer or authorities on the idle container
- Provide overview report for the idle situation for Malaysia / Singapore.
- Negotiation with customer on the Idle unit.
