Key Responsibilities
- Assist in sourcing and evaluating international suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery terms.
- Support the preparation of purchase orders and follow up on approvals and supplier confirmations.
- Coordinate the preparation and collection of import documentation (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List).
- Track international shipments and update stakeholders on delivery status.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and customs agents to ensure timely and compliant import clearance.
- Assist in monitoring supplier performance and maintaining supplier databases.
- Ensure procurement activities follow company policies and international trade regulations.
- Maintain accurate procurement records and filing systems for audits and reporting.
- Collaborate with finance and logistics teams to ensure smooth end-to-end procurement processes.
