Job Description

About the job1. Contract Lifecycle & EPCC Management

  • Drafting & Negotiation: Lead the drafting, reviewing, and negotiation of EPCC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Commissioning) and O&M (Operations & Maintenance) contracts.

  • Contractor Management: Act as the primary legal gatekeeper for sub-contractor agreements, ensuring back-to-back protection against the main Power Purchase Agreement (PPA).

  • Variation Orders (VOs): Manage the legal process for contract amendments, claims, and disputes arising during the construction phase of renewable assets (Solar, Hydro, or Bioenergy).

2. Regulatory & Licensing

  • Statutory Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with the Energy Commission (Suruhanjaya Tenaga), SEDA, and TNB/GSL requirements.

  • Permitting: Oversee the legal aspects of obtaining Public/Private Licenses and ensuring adherence to the National Energy Transition Roadmap (NETR) frameworks (e.g...
