JOB PURPOSE: The Security officer is responsible for protecting people, property, and information related to the facility or its grounds.
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Control access to company facilities for the safety of all employees. Inspect employees and vendors upon entry to ensure that unauthorised items are not brought in and that those items are not removed without proper clearance. Respond to emergencies and resolve conflicts when required. Prepares reports of incidents. Monitor the Security System for the safety and security of all employees JOB CONTENT: Security Officers must be in uniform and report to their Security and Maintenance Supervisor. They must present themselves in a tidy and professional manner. Uniforms must be clean and well-kept at all times. Reports directly to the Security and Maintenance Supervisor for the shift assigned.
