About the Role
We are working with a leading global organization based in Mumbai, India, which is looking for an India Payroll Head to lead end-to-end payroll operations. This role ensures accuracy, compliance, and efficiency across payroll and statutory functions, while managing a high-performing team.
Summary of the Role and Key Responsibilities
- Manage the complete India payroll lifecycle, ensuring 100% accuracy, timely disbursements, and operational excellence for a large workforce.
- Oversee all India-specific statutory compliances, including PF, ESIC, PT, LWF, and gratuity, while aligning with local labor laws.
- Execute and master India payroll operations as the primary focus, though familiarity with global payroll frameworks is preferred to align with the global structure.
