Job Description
Responsibilities
- Analyze and design sequence of operations and workflow to improve efficiencies in plant and production facilities and equipment layouts, and establish methods for maximum utilization of production facilities and personnel.
- Establish and manage training programs for personnel concerning all phases of production operations.
- Conduct studies pertaining to cost control, cost reduction, inventory control and production record systems.
- Develop and implement plans and programs for facility modifications and revisions to operation methods based on these studies.
- Assist facilities and process engineers in the planning and design of facilities.
- Support, participate, contribute and facilitate the execution of lean projects relating to Kaizen events, standardized work, visual management and 5S.
- Rate lines as part of CPS implementation of maturity improvement.
