Job Description
The Plant Industrial Engineering Manager is responsible for managing and leading the plant’s Industrial Engineering department. He/She will interact with management to develop hourly and salary staffing, business plans, and lead actions to achieve productivity objectives, including daily, weekly, and monthly business reports.
The IE Mangager will interact daily with production management and union leadership about all matters relating to staffing requirements.
The Manager also develops direct and indirect labor budgets with corporate industrial engineering team as well as performs indirect labor and ergonomics studies with plant Industrial Engineers.
