Summary Employee will serve as an Industrial Equipment Mechanic located at the Hudson Valley Healthcare System in Montrose, NY. This position may require travel between the Montrose and Castle Point Campuses, w which includes wards and Outpatient Clinics. Responsibilities Duties will include but may not be limited to the following: Overhauls, repairs, and performs preventative maintenance on all VA owned vehicles and equipment. Installs, maintains and repairs non-production industrial plant machinery, equipment and systems. Interprets and applies the requirements of technical manuals, shop directives, multi-view blueprints and other documents to determine critical dimensions and key reference points. Determines the nature and extent of repairs. Performs repairs, to include replacing, reworking, or refinishing worn or damaged parts and components.
