Schedule: Second shift, Monday–Friday, 1:45 p.m. – 10:00 p.m.
A day in the life: You arrive for second shift, open our CMMS (MicroMain), and review work orders alongside operator checklists and comments. You plan your preventative maintenance (PM) route, lock and tag out equipment, and get to work restoring assets to showroom condition. Between PMs, you’re executing fast mold changeovers using SMED methods, documenting process changes, and verifying that every machine is safe, efficient, and meeting OEE and quality expectations. If a line calls for help, you’re the first responder—diagnosing hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, mechanical, or process issues and getting production moving again. When emergencies occur, you generate quick tickets, record consumed parts, and alert the team when inventory hits reorder points.
