Job Description
This position is based in Ireland.
Key Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by shot blasting, sandblasting, or other abrasive methods to remove rust and old coatings.
- Apply industrial-grade paints, epoxies, and protective coatings to metal structures, pipes, and equipment.
- Operate blasting and spray painting equipment safely and effectively.
- Mix paints and coatings to correct specifications.
- Inspect finished surfaces for quality, thickness, and adherence to specifications.
- Adhere to strict safety protocols, including wearing full PPE and managing hazardous materials.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in industrial painting and/or shot blasting.
- Proficiency with blasting equipment, spray guns, and other painting tools.
- Knowledge of various industrial coatings, their application methods, and safety data sheets (SDS).
