The Kelly Group is seeking an Industrial Plant Maintenance Worker for its Lafayette, Indiana, location and work in the surrounding area. Candidates should have a minimum of 2 to 3 years of plant maintenance experience in a grain handling and/or processing environment.
This position requires the ability to perform these essential duties:
+ Perform equipment maintenance on various types of mechanical equipment, including belt conveyors, bucket elevators, drag chains, grain cleaners, screw conveyors, etc.
+ Show familiarity with different types of bearings and setting tolerances and taper locks
+ Perform rigging and hoisting to properly move materials via the use of cranes and/or hand signaling to an operator
+ Perform and demonstrate the ability to complete work using safe work practices
